Testimonies

I cannot say enough praise for Victor Casto's work. From the quality of the photos, to his attention to detail, to his ability to deliver the work under a tight deadline, everything about his photography is impeccable. He has such an incredible eye and was an absolute pleasure to work with. I have rehired him on multiple occasions and would not bat an eye at the opportunity to work with him again.

- Ruth Heronemus, Owner of 303GRAND

"Victor Casto delivers such passion to each shoot he work's on. He has a certain style that he customizes for each particular shoot, ant yet the end result is always his obvious love and beautiful vision for all of them."

- Samantha Lennon, Makeup Artist www.samanthalennon.com

"To capture a moment in time, one needs much more than a keen eye. Dedication and passion are two of the strongest attributes that make a photo eternal, and those are two attributes that Victor inspires in all of his work. Of the many people I ve had the pleasure of working with, never have I met a photographer like Victor. Charismatic and charming ; he captures something much more than images and pictures, he captures the soul."

- Jonathan Cabrera, Photographer

I contacted Victor with a last-minute photo request and was shocked at not only his willingness to help, but also the creative ability he displayed in taking the little information I provided him with and managing to capture just what I was looking for in such a short amount of time. I would recommend his work to anyone

- Kevin Arnold, Customer

This was my first time in front of a professional photographer. As a beginner, I was nervous, excited and anxious. Victor made me feel comfortable being myself in front of the camera. He has a very worry-free attitude that helps put the mind at ease. He took care of everything from lighting to prop set-up. His creative editing was better than I could have imagined. The pictures were wonderful. I can t wait to work with him again soon!

- Sarah Huber, Customer

There are many photographers out there who simply take pictures. Victor is NOT one of these people. He captures a moment and displays it not only for what it is, but allows one to actually be apart it. Not only is it pleasure to work with him, it is an honor to be able to simply view his work. He is truly one in a million.

About

Born & raised in the Bronx, I started Wet Paint as a side project. The name arose as a result of coping with social anxiety in high school. I developed a devious habit of taking WET PAINT signs from train stations. It became a fleeting thrill that helped overcome my anxiousness.

After my first year at college studying media arts, I dropped out. Unhappy with the direction I was going in, I became an at-home student - studying photography & art at my own pace. With a knack for event coordinating and art direction, I freelance in Brooklyn and accompanying boroughs with other artists, photographers & entrepreneurs.
